** STOP PRESS – FISH n CHIP SUPPER & QUIZ NIGHT – 28th OCTOBER ** A Huge Thank You to the Inner Wheel Club of Redditch Along with many charities we were unable to hold fund raising events during the pandemic. We are indebted, therefore, to the wonderful group of ladies from the Inner Wheel Club of Redditch, who supported the Charity, raising a most generous sum of money during the very difficult time of 2020-22. The members came up with a wonderful variety of ideas to raise money, from a swimathon, helicopter ride raffle, to an auction of promises, to name a few. If any of our supporters know of a voluntary association or club who might consider supporting us with a fund raising event, however big or small, please do let us know. WSC Trustee Margaret Mandrell, who has visited the schools in Sierra Leone, would also be very happy to visit any organisations in the Worcestershire area to speak about the schools and the work we do. She is a very interesting speaker and has often been asked back to speak on a variety of subjects. |
A Huge Thank You to our Supporters The Charity is aware of the rising cost of living not only in the UK but also in Sierra Leone and we are carefully considering which projects we can afford to fund. It is only because of your continued generosity that we are able to do anything at all. We will do our utmost to support ongoing projects and are looking into a number of future projects. Every Pound raised goes directly to the Waterloo Schools to continue the provision of education and welfare of staff and pupils. Thank you. 2021 / 2022 HIGHLIGHTS
