Congratulations to Christopher Cole – Our first graduate!

Christopher became a scholar at the age of 11 and has now graduated with a law degree from the Fourah Bay University in Freetown. Our charity has sponsored him right through primary and secondary school and also at university. We are very proud of him. We will bring news of the other two recipients of the LAURIE READ BURSARY, Eku Williams and Raymond Parsons, in our next newsletter. Trivia Quiz and Fish n chip Supper

By popular demand we are holding another quiz for Waterloo Schools, with a fish and chip supper. We hope you can bring along a team for this fun evening . To reserve a table (teams of 4-6) please call Anne Robertson on 01386 793271 or Sue Read on 01386 553891. Tickets are £10 per person to include supper. Children under 12 - £5.

Last year we raised over £1000 and are hoping to better this this year. If you have any gifts or promises that we can use in the raffle, these would be gratefully received. Please contact Anne or Sue.
