Laurie & Sue visited the Nursery, Primary & Secondary Schools in Waterloo from 21 October to 21 November. Glad to report that things are improving there although there is still much to do. Laurie painted another mural at the nursery school much to the children's delight and all five blocks in the primary school were redecorated inside and out and windows/doors and roofs repaired.

At the secondary school the computers donated by Great Barr School Birmingham are installed in the science block and children are learning the basics - ie how to hold a mouse and navigate the screen. Lessons are being beamed in via satellite dish from South Africa and this has greatly improved the quality of teaching available to the students. There is no internet connection in Waterloo as yet.

Margaret joined Sue & Laurie on this trip and all three enjoyed the hospitality of local friends in Waterloo and are looking forward to the next visit in 2012.
